Professional Experience
With over 7+ years of experience in immigration law, I have worked extensively on affirmative applications, consular processing, and immigration litigation. My background has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to navigate complex immigration matters and passionately advocate for clients seeking legal status in the United States.
I began my career as a Case Manager at the Law Office of Felipe DJ Millan, a position that has offered valuable opportunities for professional development and growth. In this role, I manage a wide range of responsibilities, maintaining accurate case timelines, and ensuring the timely submission of filings. I also serve as a key liaison between clients and attorneys and paralegals, helping to ensure clarity, consistency, and high-quality legal service throughout the case process. This role has not only deepened my understanding of immigration procedures but has also reinforced my dedication to providing client-centered support in every aspect of my work.
Why I work in Immigration
From a young age, I was captivated by the idea of becoming a legal professional, sparked by the attorney commercials I watched on television and a deep-rooted desire to help others. Being bilingual opened the door to my first position at an immigration law firm in Seattle, WA, where I quickly discovered that this field was more than just a job; it was my purpose. Every day, I have the opportunity to guide individuals and families through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. The ability to be part of their journey toward stability and legal status is both humbling and deeply rewarding. It is this impact helping people and changing lives that fuels my passion for immigration law and drives my ongoing commitment to this work.
