Elvira Hughes has over eighteen years of experience as a paralegal. She specializes in Family-based immigration, Waivers, Citizenship and Naturalization, U Visas, and VAWA cases.

Apart from being a paralegal, Miss Elvira Hughes also oversees, along with Attorney Millan, the legal work for our San Diego office and supervises, instructs, teaches and trains one Paralegal and two Legal Interns.

She has worked in several law firms such as Gabriel Jimenez, Attorney At Law, and Maney/Gordon/Zeller, PA. Her experience dates all the way back to 1997 when she started as a legal secretary.  She has gained good people and leadership skills due to her experience as an HR generalist.

Time during which she would travel to various military installations and would take on duties such as recruiting, hiring, coordinating new employee orientation, and providing supervision.


Elvira Hughes graduated from the El Paso Community College with an Associates of Arts and Sciences as a Paralegal. Time in which she made the dean’s list on several occasions.
